UX Research Plan: Smart Irrigation Technology

Background

This project will conduct research around services related to irrigation systems. Reasons for this research is to learn about the customer needs and expectations as well as discover potential issues. New homeowners as well as existing homeowners will be included in this project. It will be beneficial to allow space in the interviews as the research will be field focused and dependent. There will likely be information noted with time intervals in-between because of this. This research is important because it will give light to gaps between customer and service for improvements in the field in addition to addressing potential highlights, such as lack of transparency, time efficiency, cost and perhaps most importantly, trust.
